The Second Steering Committee Meeting of the “Strengthening Institutional Capacity of Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure on the Transport of Perishable Foodstuffs” project was held on 11.11.2021.

The Second Steering Committee Meeting of the project was held in Ankara on 11 November 2021 with the participation of the European Union Delegation to Turkey, the Contracting Authority (Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure), the Beneficiary Institution (General Directorate of Transport Services Regulation) and other project stakeholders. The meeting started with the presentation of the project progress so far, the path covered in the project and its outputs. In the presentation, extensive information was given about the legislative work related to the ATP agreement, the efforts to strengthen roadside inspections and ongoing path to increase the Ministry’s institutional capacity. Eptisa experts shared their studies to be carried out within the scope of the project in the upcoming period. The meeting ended with a questions-answers session and exchange of views among the participants.
